Who’s The Boss?

Now, we’ve established that Hadley’s Bungalow is a family business, but someone’s got to wear the pants, right? Well of course!

Miss Caylin Dru is the real master mind behind this company. Caylin Dru— a girl who loves to make all things beautiful with her artistic touches, her colorful creativity, and her excellent taste in style. Speaking as her younger sister, I can tell you Caylin has always helped me with all things cute and fashionable. I was the kid who, in an effort to make my outfits cute, would waltz downstairs in completely mismatched clothes and Caylin would simply look at me with kindness in her eyes and say, oh Madison, let’s work on this. I still to this day have no idea how to curl my own hair or do a French braid because my big sissy has always been right there to help me! She has an eye for style but more than anything, she’s invested enough in people’s lives that she has a knack for creating beauty and purpose where there may otherwise be chaos by working alongside them. She is constant and faithful in all that she does. No wonder Edde and I have always tried to match her not only in the clothes we wear, but we try to be just like her character!

In my poor fashion crisis growing up, I began just copying Caylin’s style! I would stroll out after getting ready for the day in the exact same outfit as Caylin, and one of the most wonderful things about Caylin is that she never minded. She’s always been so quick to just wrap her arm around my shoulder and welcome me into all the things she was a part of — not out of duty or obligation, but because she just has the biggest heart! We grew up like twins tied at the hip — running around on the beach in our matching swimming suits till our little noses and cheeks were sun-kissed, snuggling up on the couch to watch movies, or cheering each other on as teammates. There is no one more suited to lead this company with grace, confidence, investment, and love than she!
